Joseph Kimani
Graduate Architect

Joseph, a Graduate Architect and designer from the University of Nairobi has over three years of architecture related professional experience. Before joining IN 5 Architects, he interned for DMJ Architects where he sharpened his technical drawing and project planning skills. He then moved to Triad Architects for a year long attachment where he honed his project management skills.

A major part of his interest comes from working with various alternative materials and crafts, new design methods and using new technologies/software. He has always been keen to investigate how design and technology can influence human behaviour and experiences. As a culmination of his various interests, he sees a big opportunity and a challenge in combining interaction design and architecture to make intelligent spaces, objects and services that set-up an active dialogue between people, technology and the environment.
